Moodboard is a data visualisation program. Built on Python and D3, the program scrapes data from the Billboard Hot 100 chart, pulls the valence (happiness rating) and other metadata for each song from Spotify's API, then adds it to a scatterplot.

The original version of Moodboard used natural language processing to analyse the sentiment of the lyrics, instead of valence scores from Spotify.

It looks a little like the preview below – a live version on its way.
